Primary Petite Finale
Primary Finale is a showcase of our youngest students’ achievements. This informal showing gives our Dance Together, Creative Movement I & II, and Pre-Ballet students a performance experience, allowing them to share what they have learned throughout the year without the stress and anxiety of a traditional “recital”. This presentation is made on the final day of the school year and information about performance times will be provided to parents during the Spring Semester.

2015 Primary Petite Finale Schedule Coming Soon!
Please note that all regularly scheduled classes Monday-Friday will take place this week. However, Saturday classes will be replaced by the Petite Finale showings.
Tickets: The cost for Primary Petite Finale is free for dancers; $5 for all audience members, including children. General admission tickets, priced at $5 per person, will be on sale an hour before each performance at the Main Street location.
Limited wheelchair access is available; please ask when purchasing tickets. Purchasing tickets in advance will guarantee you a seat for these packed performances as well as make arriving and preparing for the special day much less hectic.
What to wear: Students should wear their regular class attire. We will surprise them with accessories to borrow for their performance, but they should come to their Finale showing dressed as they would for regular class. Costume accessories must be returned after each Finale showing. Please be sure girls’ hair is secured in a bun, or that shorter hair is pulled out of the face with barrettes or a headband.
When to arrive: Students should arrive 15-20 minutes prior to their scheduled performance time, dressed and ready to dance. They should not have any personal items with them. Parents can drop off students to our chaperones where our teachers will warm them up and prepare them to perform.
Photos and Videos: We understand that parents would like to capture this moment. Parents will be permitted to video their child during the showing. We will not record the Petite Finale. However, for the safety of the students and to avoid distraction in the audience, please use discretion and avoid using a flash when taking photographs. For the privacy of the other dancers and their families, we ask that you limit the photos and videos to include your child only. Additionally, we ask that you share photos or videos privately with your families, rather than posting publicly online.
Reception: A reception following each Finale performance to celebrate our student’s accomplishments is organized by volunteers along with families in the Primary Division. We invite you and your child to choose a favorite homemade or purchased treat that you will bring to the reception to share with your friends from dance class. Any type of finger food is welcome and we encourage you to bring healthy snacks as well as sweet treats. Our reception is only as festive as you make it, so please don’t forget treats to share! This is a great opportunity to celebrate our wonderful and talented students achievements! A sign-up sheet will be provided as the Primary Petite Finale approaches.
