Giselle Performances Dedicated to HeroesThe Louisville Ballet will honor the brave men and women of our armed forces, police, fire and emergency services during the production of Giselle, which occurs over the anniversary week-end of September 11th. On Saturday evening (9/11), representatives from branches of the military and community services will be recognized on stage prior to the performance. Members of the 113th Army Band will entertain patrons in the lobby of The Kentucky Center beginning at 7 pm. This brass quintet will play light classical and patriotic selections. The Louisville Ballet is also offering special discounts to military personnel and community service workers. Please contact The Kentucky Center box office for more information (502-584-7777). Please join us in thanking these heroes for their continued sacrifices in order to serve and protect our community and country. |
