Trainee

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa., Alexis received her training from the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School, most recently directed by Dennis Marshall and Marjorie Grundvig. There she participated in the Schenley High School program and the graduate program. During that time, Alexis performed in several Company productions, including Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and Coppélia. Her teachers include Marianna Tcherkassky, Pollyana Rebeiro, Dana Arey, Janet Popeleski and Roberto Munoz. Alexis attended summer programs at Pacific Northwest Ballet and BalletMet. This is Alexis’s second season with the Louisville Ballet.
