TRAINEE

Amelia is from Yuma, Ariz., where she trained with Yuma Ballet Academy under the direction of Jon Cristofori and Kathleen Sinclair. She has attended summer programs at CPYB, the International Ballet Competition Summer Dance School, Paul Taylor, Louisville Ballet, Ballet Met and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. In 2006, she received a scholarship for her original choreography Cerulean to attend Craft of Choreography as an Emerging Choreographer, and in 2007 she was 1st runner up for her original choreography Cerise Variations at Regional Dance America’s National Festival for the Pacific Region. This is her first season with the Louisville Ballet.
