TRAINEE

Born in Montreal, Canada, Caitlin started dancing at age seven. She studied with Margaret Mehuys and then went to the National Ballet School of Canada. After moving to the United States, Caitlin began dancing with Inwood Dance Company. At sixteen, Caitlin joined Houston Ballet II on full scholarship. She worked with Stanton Welch, Claudio Muñoz and Dawn Scannell, and performed various classical and contemporary ballets, including Ben Stevenson’s Twilight Pas de Deux. Caitlin attended summer programs at School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and the Hungarian Dance Academy in Budapest. This is Caitlin’s first season with the Louisville Ballet.
