1st Soloist

A native of Atlanta, Ga., Christy is returning for a sixth season with the Company. Since joining the Louisville Ballet, she has danced principal and soloist roles in Who Cares?, Agon, Lambarena, Serenade, Four Last Songs and Les Sylphides. Previously, she danced with Atlanta Ballet, Ballet Memphis, and most recently, Texas Ballet Theater, where she performed title roles in Ben Stevenson’s Cinderella and Giselle. Christy has enjoyed more contemporary roles in Paul Taylor’s Company B; Stanton Welch’s Fingerprints; Lila York’s Rapture; Trey McIntyre’s Aliss in Wonderland; and Adam Hougland’s Devolve, Made to Be Broken and Fragile Stasis.
