Corps de Ballet

Originally from Ft. Wayne, Ind., Emily trained and danced with the Ft. Wayne Ballet under the direction of Michael Tevlin, Judy Jacob and Robert Kelley. She earned her B.S. in ballet and arts administration from Indiana University in 2000, joining the Louisville Ballet that same year. Emily has enjoyed working with Adam Hougland on Cold Virtues, Devolve, Made to Be Broken and Fragile Stasis. Other favorite roles include Company B, Fairy of Charm (The Sleeping Beauty), Pas de Trois (Agon and Raymonda), Red Girls (Les Patineurs) and Domani (Nine Sinatra Songs). Emily welcomed her first child, Maya Kennedy, last summer.
