Returning for his sixth season, Mariano is originally from Phoenix and has danced with Texas Ballet Theater, Tulsa Ballet, Ballet Arizona and Oklahoma Festival Ballet. Major roles have included The Moor in The Moor’s Pavane; Fredrick and Renfield in Dracula; Tybalt, Mercutio and Romeo in Romeo and Juliet; and Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Highlights of his contemporary repertoire include Troy Game, Death and the Maiden, Prawn Watching, Mare Nostrum, Carmina Burana, The Green Table, Jardi Tancat and Going for Baroque. He was honored to dance leading roles in the American premieres of Peter Pan and The Three Musketeers.
