TRAINEE

Rachel is from Annandale, Va., and studied at Arlington Center for Dance under the direction of Nancie Woods and with teachers Paul Wegner, Carmen Perez-Rowe and Carolyn Carattini. She has attended summer programs at Houston Ballet, the Rock School, Boston Ballet and Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell. In November of 2006, Rachel was awarded the Washington Post Music and Dance Scholarship for both artistic and academic excellence.
