***IMPORTANT SCHEDULE UPDATE***

Due to dangerous, inclement weather conditions caused by Winter Storm Elliot, Governor Andy Beshear has issued a state of emergency for Kentucky starting today, Thursday, December 22, 2022. Because of these conditions, all remaining performances of The Brown-Forman Nutcracker have been canceled: Thursday, December 22 @ 7:30pm; Friday, December 23 @ 1:30pm; Friday, December 23 @ 7:30pm.

All current ticket holders for these performances should have received an email from the Louisville Ballet box office with more details.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. The safety of our patrons, the Kentucky Performing Arts staff and volunteers, the Louisville Orchestra, and the entire Louisville Ballet team is very important to us. While we are disappointed to not have the opportunity to gather in the theater for the final performances of our beloved holiday tradition, we know that this is the right decision at this time.

Join us again, or for the very first time, as we make holiday memories with our community favorite, The Brown-Forman Nutcracker. Experience beautiful performances by the artists of Louisville Ballet, featuring live music performed by The Louisville Orchestra , conducted by Louisville Ballet Music Director, Tara Simoncic, and the sweet addition of our children’s cast dancers from throughout our community. Our snow zone “Sweet Seats” have returned, and our lobby will be full of festive cheer as we feature pre-show performances by community arts partners. Be sure to check out Nutcracker Gift Shop items, including nutcrackers, ornaments, t-shirts, tote bags, and more! And our Sugar Plum Parties have returned for pre-show fun on December 17 and 18 at 11:30am before our matinee performance.
