Meet some of the extras from Romeo & Juliet…
Laurel Altman (Louisville):   Laurel makes her first appearance with the Louisville Ballet in Romeo & Juliet             Â
Ian Ellis (Loughborough, England):  This is Ian’s first time in Romeo & Juliet but he has been an extra in four ballets.  He has been active in local community theater for many years.
Dorissa Falk (Louisville): Â Dorissa happily reprises the Nurse role. She is a retired music teacher and now children’s choir director and grandmother.
Charlotte Graham (Prospect):Â This is Charlotte’s first production with the Louisville Ballet.
Hal Hauck (Louisville): This is Hal’s fourth time as an extra in Romeo & Juliet.
Kathy Hogan (Louisville): Kathy first danced in Petrouchka in 1979 and this is her first Romeo & Juliet.
Stephanie Huff (Louisville): This is Stephanie’s first appearance in Romeo & Juliet. She is excited to participate in this production with her friends in the Louisville Ballet family.
Jenny LaWall (Sun Prairie, WI): Jenny is the Louisville Ballet’s Education and Outreach Coordinator and loves teaching throughout the community.
Pete Lay (Lucas, OH): As a recovering ballet dancer, Pete is very excited to be back on the boards with some old friends!
Lue Peabody (Louisville): This is Lue’s second time appearing in Romeo & Juliet and enjoys being part of such an outstanding group as the Louisville Ballet.
John Roberts (Louisville): It is an honor to be making a second appearance in a Louisville Ballet production.
Mike Slaton (Louisville): Mike was an extra in the Louisville Ballet’s 2010 The Three Musketeers and once played Peter in Stage One’s Romeo and Juliet.
Gerald Stribling (Louisville): Gerry is a writer and Buddhist counselor who lives in theHighlands. This is his second time playing Friar Lawrence.
David X. Thurmond (Hopkinsville, KY): David is the Executive Director of the Sacred Heart School for the Arts.
Steven Von Gerlachter (Fort Thomas, KY): Steve is a huge fan of the Louisville Ballet and appreciates everything they do for this community.
