The Louisville Ballet School’s Summer Intensive Program
aims to blend classical training with a myriad of experiences
ranging from field trips to local museums to performances
by some of the region’s best arts organizations. The
program is limited to 45 students in each of two divisions
in order to ensure each dancer receives personalized attention.
Dancers attend classes in ballet, pointe, variations and
modern from 9:30 am - 5:30 pm on weekdays. Pilates, pas de
deux, jazz, character dance, music appreciation and injury
prevention classes are also offered.
If you are unable to attend an audition in
person, video submissions are accepted. Please review the
video audition
guidelines. The deadline for video audition submission is
May 4, 2009.
