SEASON OF ILLUMINATION STREAMING FAQs

WHAT IS A DIGITAL TICKET?

A digital ticket gives your household access to the art film.

HOW DO I ACCESS THE FILM?

Approximately 24 hours before the viewing window opens, you will receive an email from no-reply@overture.plus that contains your unique link to the film. You will be able to play the film beginning at 12:01am on the date the viewing window opens.

WHY IS THE SHOW NOT PLAYING IN MY BROWSER?

Please check your internet browser. Older versions of Internet Explorer may not have the capability to stream the video, but it does work on the most recent version, so you may need to update your software. Alternatively, try using a different internet browser like Google Chrome or Firefox.

WHAT DEVICE SHOULD I USE?

The performance page is browser-based and can be viewed on any device with a web browser. If your TV does not have a web browser option please see options below:

  • Connect an HDMI from your laptop to your TV to mirror the laptop onto the TV.
  • Some of the TV devices (i.e. Chromecast, Roku, Fire, etc) have apps that allow you to mirror your computer/tablet/phone onto your TV.
  • Some newer TVs have inbuilt browsers that support video player.

WHAT IS OVERTURE?

Overture is the streaming site that will host our art films this season. If we send you a link that directs to Overture.plus, that link is safe to follow and will let you stream the film that you have purchased.

HOW MANY TIMES WILL I BE ABLE TO VIEW THE FILM?

Number of views will be vary per production. This information will be included when you viewing link is delivered.

CAN I SHARE ONE OF MY VIEWS OR MY LINK?

Your unique link is tied to the first device that you use to watch the film, so it would not work for anyone else.

WILL EACH PERSON IN MY HOUSEHOLD NEED A TICKET?

If you are all watching together, one Digital Ticket covers an entire household!

WILL THERE BE ANY IN-PERSON EVENTS?

There will be no live performances this season, and at this time we do not have any in-person events planned.

AM I ABLE TO DOWNLOAD A PERFORMANCE TO RE-WATCH?

Performances will only be available to be streamed, and they will only be available to watch for a limited time.
