Nutcracker: The Exhibition

Make the most of your field trip experience by combining your Brown-Forman Nutcracker Student Matinee with a trip to Nutcracker: The Exhibition at the Frazier Museum. For only $7 more per student, your class can visit the exhibit which features original costumes, stage models, set recreations, photographs, and other artifacts from Nutcracker performances past and present. Hands-on interactive activities further allow visitors to explore the history and magic of this enchanting ballet. 

Groups may choose from a 9:00 – 12:00 experience or 10:45 – 2:00 experience 
(Arrangements and payments will be made to each organization separately.)

9:00 – 10:30 AM                Frazier Museum Nutcracker: The Exhibition

10:30 – 10:45 AM              Walk to KY Center

11:00 – 12:00 PM              Louisville Ballet’s Brown-Forman Nutcracker *(lunch time and fee not included)

OR

11:00 – 12:00 PM              Louisville Ballet’s Brown-Forman Nutcracker (at KY Center)

12:00 – 12:15 PM              Walk to Frazier Kentucky History Museum

12:15 – 2:00 PM                Nutcracker: The Exhibition & Brown Bag Lunch at Frazier Museum
                                          (school brings sack lunches to eat at the Frazier / add $0.50 per student for lunch room rental for a total per-student rate of $7.50)

*KY Center provides space for brown bag lunches before or after student matinee performances for custodial fee of $40. Prior arrangement required; please indicate on your ticket reservation form. Payment is not due until day of performance; please make check payable to the Kentucky Center.
