ABOUT
Founded in 1952 and led by Artistic Director Anthony Krutzkamp and Chief Executive Officer Leslie Smart, Louisville Ballet is an evolved but accessible ballet company committed to boldly and beautifully communicating artistic stories both classic and new. Choreographers of recently performed works include Val Caniparoli, Alun Jones, Adam Hougland, Stephen Mills, Andrea Schermoly, Brandon Ragland, and Ching Ching Wong, among others.

TENTATIVE AUDITION Schedule*
11:00 a.m. – Registration**
12:30 p.m. – Class 1
2:30 p.m. – Class 2
4:30 p.m. – Callbacks from classes 1 and 2, which will include a contemporary portion.
*Check back soon for the final schedule
**Dancers must arrive for registration at 11 a.m. to receive their class assignments.
DETAILS
Dancers must arrive prepared with the following:
-Recent headshot, dance photo, and current resumé
-Pointe shoes (women)
-Personal ID
-$25 audition fee (Check made out to Louisville Ballet is preferred. Venmo payment will be available on the day of the audition.)

FAQ
Are there separate auditions for the Company and Studio Company?
No. Please attend the March audition to be considered for either the Company and/or the Studio Company.
Do you accept walk-ins for the open audition?
No, we do not. Every dancer must complete registration before auditioning.
Do I need to submit a video?
Yes, dancers must submit a link to a video audition in the registration form. If we need additional information, we will reach out to you.
