Jeremy Hanson

Jeremy began dancing at the age of two at his mother’s dance studio in Rolla, MO. At the age of 15, he began to expand his knowledge of classical ballet at COCA in Saint Louis, MO. In 2016, Jeremy moved to Boca Raton, FL where he continued more serious ballet training at The HARID Conservatory. His senior year of high school, Jeremy moved to Kansas City, MO to work with Kansas City Ballet School, and became a Trainee with Kansas City Ballet’s Second Company the following year. During his time with Kansas City Ballet he was able to perform many different roles including: Guard in Devon Carney’s Romeo & Juliet, Crocodile in Carney’s Peter Pan, Corps De Ballet Man in George Balanchine’s Diamonds, Mouse, Mother Ginger and Bear in Carney’s The Nutcracker, Ballroom Man in Act III of Val Caniparoli’s Lady of the Camellias, and Toto in Septime Webre’s World Premiere of The Wizard of Oz. Jeremy recently traveled to Moscow, Russia for Benois De La Dance to perform the role of Toto representing Septime Webre in his Choreographic Nomination for The Wizard of Oz. This is Jeremy’s first season as a company dancer for Louisville Ballet.
