Tiffany Bovard, from Charles Town, West Virginia, began her formal dance training at Vostrikov’s Academy of Ballet under the direction of Gennadi and Susan Vostrikov. She went on to graduate magna cum laude from Butler University, receiving a BFA with Honors in Dance Performance and Business. Prior to joining the Louisville Ballet in 2011, Tiffany danced with Elements Contemporary Ballet under the direction of Mike Gosney. Since joining the Louisville Ballet, she has had the opportunity to perform as Desdemona in Othello, the 1st movement principle in Balanchine’s Western Symphony, and a soloist in Paquita, Suite en Blanc, and Adam Hougland’s Union. She has also enjoyed dancing roles in Swan Lake, The Brown-Forman Nutcracker, Lady of the Camellias, George Balanchine’s Square Dance and Concerto Barocco, and Adam Hougland’s Cold Virtues.
