CHILDREN’S CAST COVID PROTOCOLS & VACCINE REQUIREMENTS

At this time Louisville Ballet is requiring all Children’s cast members and Parent volunteers to adhere to the current Louisville Ballet Company protocols and guidelines. Louisville Ballet is following CDC guidelines as they pertain to vaccination status.

  • Masking: At this time the use of masks at Louisville Ballet Studios is optional, yet highly recommended. We may move to a mandatory masking of our children’s cast as we begin rehearsals with the Company dancers. We will update everyone if and when we make that change.
  • Vaccinations: Louisville Ballet requires all employees to be “Up-to-Date” on Covid vaccines. The following link will take you to the CDC website where they list out all vaccines, age groups, and when a person is considered “Up to Date”.   CDC WEBSITE
  • Exposure to Positive case and Positive test protocols: We will be handling each potential, probable, definite exposure, and positive test results on a case-by-case basis, with each scenario being evaluated by our medical consultant.
  • CDC’s guidelines regarding Quarantine and Isolation.  Any positive case or exposure resulting in quarantine should immediately be communicated to the Ballet and based on individual circumstances there could be adjustments to those guidelines.

If your child started the Vaccine process to audition, please fill out the following form as soon as they have received their second shot. Also if your child receives a booster during the rehearsal process please use that form as well to keep Louisville Ballet updated as to the current status of your child’s vaccination. Pictures of current vaccine cards can be mailed to nutcracker@louisvilleballet.org
