The Kentucky Center

Since 1983, The Kentucky Center has been Kentucky’s premier performing arts center. The Center features three performance spaces including Whitney Hall, which holds over 2,000 patrons and serves as the stage for The Brown-Forman Nutcracker every year. The venue is located in the heart of downtown, with many dining and lodging options nearby.

Located beside the famous Brown Hotel, The Brown Theatre is a lavish, lovingly-restored performance space holding over 1,400 seats. This historic theater opened in 1925, modeled after New York’s famous Music Box Theater.

Centrally located in downtown Louisville, Actors Theatre is nestled near exceptional attractions and hotels and has access to ample onsite parking. The venue features multiple theatres and spaces, including the intimate Pamela Brown Auditorium, which holds 600 patrons.

Our Main Street Studios offer an intimate, behind-the-scenes performance experience. These studios are home to our Company Artists and Studio Company Dancers who rehearse there daily, along with students from The Louisville Ballet School. Our studios also serve as a performance space for our Community Engagement team and partners and Studio Company dancers.
