This event has been postponed. Please view Robert Curran’s statement here.

After careful consideration and amid growing cancellations and closures around our city, we have decided to postpone Raise the Barre, set to take place Saturday, March 14. We are grateful to Hotel Distil for their support in making this decision and look forward to rescheduling Raise the Barre at their one-of-a-kind, luxury hotel on Whiskey Row. Your ticket purchase will be honored at the time of the rescheduled event.

Raise the Barre is our chance to celebrate and support our devoted Company Dancers– 25 professional artists who give their time, effort, and dedication to the ballet and have put roots down in this city. Our dancers live, work, and raise their families in Louisville, and sacrifice a great deal to fulfil Louisville Ballet’s mission of making moving art.

Postponing this event means delaying critical contributed funds which supplement Louisville Ballet Dancer’s salaries. As a nonprofit organization, ticket sales only account for 50% of what it takes to support a world-class ballet company. We hope you will consider making a donation to support our outstanding artists.
