Moving Toward a Beautiful New Year

A message from Robert Curran, Louisville Ballet Artistic Director

Dear Louisville Ballet Friends,

As 2020 comes to an end, and we look to the beauty and promise of a New Year, I wanted to thank you.

Thank you for your support, for choosing to stay connected, and for continuing to be an integral part of our Louisville Ballet family. We have been humbled and moved by this outpouring, even in such a challenging time for so many.

What started as a spark almost seventy years ago – when Louisville Ballet began as a small, local civic ballet company – has continued to grow and burn brighter. Shaped by this incredible place and its people, informed and pushed by artists from right here and from around the world, we remain committed to the work of making moving art that embraces the beauty, the humanity, and the light of all that ballet can bring, for generations to come.

Thank you for joining us as we move toward an exciting, bright future. How thrilling to consider where 2021 will lead us!

As always, I look forward to connecting with you soon, to share in the joy of making moving art on the virtual stage.

Yours,

Robert Curran, Louisville Ballet Artistic Director
