Aleksandr Schroeder

Aleksandr grew up in Anderson, Indiana and trained at a small studio called Anderson Young Ballet Theater. As a freshman in high school, he was given the opportunity to train and perform as part of Anderson University’s Dance Department. While there, he had the pleasure of performing a work by Earl Mosley with Anderson University at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.

After graduating from high school in 2016, he joined NB2, Nashville Ballet’s official second company, and after 2 years was promoted to a Company Apprentice. While with Nashville Ballet, he was granted the opportunity to perform in The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Cinderella and named roles in Nashville’s Nutcracker, Something Wicked, and Vivaldi’s Seasons.

Aleksandr joined Louisville Ballet in 2019.
