Lincoln After-School Ballet

Welcome to ballet class! Louisville Ballet has a long-standing partnership with Lincoln Performing Arts School and we are thrilled to be working with LPAS students again this year. Our after-school classes are an extension of the high quality arts training provided at The Louisville Ballet School.  We hope that your child will find the class fun, challenging and inspiring while building their coordination and musicality.

FAQs

How should I prepare my child on the day of ballet class?
Students should wear comfortable and non-restrictive clothing for class. We also ask that student’s hair be pulled back off their face in a ponytail or bun. Wide elastic headbands are great for shorter hair.

Do I need to buy my child ballet shoes?
No. Ballet shoes are not required for virtual ballet class.

How do we access class?
All classes will be held virtually. Join class by clicking the link listed for your session above.

Who do I contact with questions or concerns?
The ballet instructor for the class is Elizabeth Matthews. If you need to speak with her about your child, she can be reached by email ematthews@louisvilleballet.org.
