LOUISVILLE, KY, Thursday, March 17, 2016 – Louisville Ballet is thrilled to announce its 2016-2017 Season as the Company prepares to celebrate 65 years of inspiring Louisville and beyond through the art of dance. Highlights of this milestone season include: three Tchaikovsky ballets – a brand-new Swan Lake, The Brown-Forman Nutcracker and Alun Jones’ The Sleeping Beauty – as well as an innovative co-production Louisville Visual Art, continuing Louisville Ballet’s commitment to collaborative new work. Choreographers’ Showcase, a community favorite and the Company’s contribution to the classics of tomorrow, develops and grows this season with a focus on narrative. And the season opener, Stars + Stripes, spectacularly launches this anniversary season by highlighting the versatility Louisville Ballet dancers alongside special guest artists.

2016-2017 SEASON TICKET PACKAGES: NEW THIS SEASON – Louisville Ballet now offers an even wider selection of Season Ticket Packages. This season’s options include full-season Experience Packages, a Story Ballet Trio, an Innovations package, a Choreograph Your Own package and more. Season Ticket Packages offer patrons access to the best seating and special perks, including concierge service through our patron services department, free and flexible ticket exchanges and the opportunity to join the Company throughout the year for special behind-the-scenes events. Packages start at just $50 and offer up to 30% off single ticket prices.

2016-2017 Season Packages will be available for purchase by new Season Ticket Package patrons and renewing patrons (2015-2016 Subscribers) starting March 28, 2016.
