As a part of our 2020 / 2021 all-digital Season of Illumination, Louisville Ballet is proud to announce a Sensory Friendly Experience of The Brown Forman Nutcracker. Filmed by our friends at WDRB in 2019, audiences of all ages are sure to delight in this beautiful holiday classic that follows Marie’s journey from the holiday party to the Land of Sweets.

The Sensory Friendly Experience includes access to the entire performance, both Acts 1 & 2 in their entirety. Accommodations include a Resource Guide with background information about the show, a social narrative, and timeline of sensory-sensitive moments that happen throughout the performance.

Access to the film also includes the ability to scroll through the performance and re-watch parts of the show that you really like or skip ahead of any parts that you wish not to see.

While we will miss hosting our Sensory Friendly performance this year at the theater, we are thrilled to continue connecting with our community through our digital stage and making the world of ballet accessible to all.
