Suffering from cabin fever? We’re here to help! Adult Ballet and Pas de Deux (Creative Movement for Adult & Child) will be held this morning on their regular schedule (Tuesday, 2/16). Be sure to allow extra time to commute and use your best judgment!
Stay tuned for an update mid-day regarding afternoon and evening classes.
We just can’t get a break from this snow! All LBS classes have been canceled for today.
Stay safe and warm!
We are currently monitoring the weather and road conditions, so please check back mid-day for an update regarding afternoon and evening classes.
Valentine’s Party registrations fees will go up to $30
after today and space is limited, so don’t forget to register!
Reservations at all the best restaurants are filling up quickly, so don’t miss your chance to reserve a spot for your child to dance to their heart’s content with LBS and PALS! It is going to be a blast for the kids, and our party might just be the most inexpensive babysitter in town for a special night out with your valentine!
Everyone is welcome: siblings and friends, boys and girls! This is a very important fundraiser benefiting the Louisville Ballet Youth Ensemble’s (LBYE) annual trip to the Southeast Regional Ballet Association (SERBA) Festival, so we encourage you to show your support for these talented young performers. And of course, the LBYE dancers will be on-hand at the party to ensure that a great time is had by all!
Feel free to invite your friends and family! Families are welcome to register via email with a scanned Registration Form.

All afternoon and evening classes will be held on their regular schedule today. The kids may be out of school, but we are ready to dance! We hope this will come as welcome news to many families suffering from cabin fever!
As always, please use your best judgment while making plans to attend classes. Most main streets in Louisville are clear, but neighborhood streets may still be snow-covered.
Due to poor driving conditions, morning classes have been canceled. This includes Adult Intermediate Ballet and Creative Movement at our St. Matthews Studios.
We will be monitoring the driving conditions, so please stay tuned for updates regarding afternoon classes. Updates will be posted on our website, Facebook, Twitter, and the outgoing message on 583-3150 #1.
As a reminder, the Louisville Ballet School does NOT always close when JCPS closes due to inclement weather. Always check our website and telephone message for information about closings as we may not always have access to send email updates to all concerned parties.
DUE TO UNSAFE DRIVING CONDITIONS, ALL CLASSES AND REHEARSALS ARE CANCELED FOR TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 9TH.
If you have to venture out, please take it slow and be safe. Otherwise, snuggle up and enjoy some hot cocoa tonight!
As an additional note, we will be adding Youth Ensemble rehearsals on the evening of Wednesday, February 17 to make up for tonight. We apologize for the inconvenience, however, with both SERBA adjudication and Spring Showcase close upon us, we cannot afford to lose any more rehearsal time. Junior Youth Ensemble members will not be called on February 17. Please look for a schedule for next week soon.
