Join Louisville Ballet for a specially-designed student matinee! Educators and students have the opportunity to enjoy a live performance while getting a behind-the-scenes look at ballet and the performing arts. All student matinees are one hour and include excerpts from the production performed by Louisville Ballet. In addition, educators receive a comprehensive Resource Pack before the performance to enhance the experience for students.

Enjoy excerpts from Louisville Ballet resident choreographer Adam Hougland’s world-premiere reimagining of the classic ballet, Sleeping Beauty.
All in-person student tickets are $10, with one FREE chaperone ticket provided per 10 student tickets. Additional adult tickets are available for $20 each. Virtual student tickets are $5, with one FREE adult/chaperone ticket provided per 10 student tickets.
Payment for student matinees is due three weeks prior to the performance. Cancellations may be made until 30 days prior to the performance. After this deadline, field trip reservations become a final sale, and your school is responsible for the full amount due. Adjustments are not allowed for absences on the day of the show.
To reserve your school’s spot, fill out our online form to request seats for your students. Please note that ticket reservations are not complete until you receive a confirmation from Louisville Ballet.

Masks are required for all attendees. Theater capacity will be restricted to 50 – 75% capacity in order to allow for physical distancing between groups. Kentucky Performing Arts’ policy requiring proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test does not apply to student matinees.
